Section 1.4.2

Improving the quality and sustainability of the financial services offering

The design of new financial products that meet the specific needs of agriculture and agro-processing, takes into account the diversity of production, production cycles (perennial, semi-perennial, annual, seasonal crops) and the type of investment demand by micro, small and medium-sized enterprises.
The Project capitalizes on the lessons learned from the PEA-Jeunes du Cameroun project, which for several years has been financing young entrepreneurs through a tripartite cost-sharing financing mechanism, focusing on the terms of disbursement of the subsidy, the training of credit officers and the examination of default cases..
Une assistance technique en finance rurale est apportée aux institutions financières rurales pour mieux répondre aux besoins des entrepreneurs et en améliorant aussi les solutions digitales.
